Our Services

Emma Saliba Interiors + Design specializes in whole-home projects where selections are complex, interconnected, and critical to the timeline. Whether you’re building new, renovating whole, or furnishing a completed construction, we have a service designed for you. While we are based in Winchester, MA — a suburb north of Boston — we partner with clients all over New England.

Full Service Design

The complete design partner for your new construction or whole-home renovation.

You’re building a custom home or gutting and renovating an existing one. You have a vision (how you want to live, the feeling you want to create) but the path from vision to completion is overwhelming. Plumbing fixtures, window treatments, lighting, tile, cabinetry, hardware, paint colors, flooring, stone selections, grout colors, hardware finishes. Each selection is interconnected, and a misstep in one area cascades through the rest. Your builder needs decisions on schedule. Your contractors need specifications locked.

Full Service Design is your end-to-end partner. We coordinate every selection and specification from discovery through final installation, ensuring that each choice reinforces your vision and keeps your project on timeline. We work directly with your builder, architect, and contractors — managing lead times, coordinating submittals, and handling punch list reviews. We help you build a home with the rigor and coordination it deserves.

Renovation Design

Design direction for your whole-home gut renovation or major renovation project.

Your home has good bones, but it needs transformation. You’re gutting the kitchen. You’re renovating multiple bathrooms. You’re opening up walls, rethinking the flow, maybe moving major systems. You need design direction that understands both the structural decisions and the specifications—tile layout, plumbing fixture finishes, lighting design, paint selections, hardware finishes, window treatment strategy.

Renovation Design Services is specialized for existing-home transformation. Unlike new construction, renovation design requires understanding what’s worth preserving, how to work within existing constraints, where structural changes unlock possibilities, and how to coordinate every specification with contractors and architects so the renovation stays on timeline.

What’s Included
  • Comprehensive Renovation Assessment
  • Design Direction & Space Planning
  • Material & Specification Selection
  • Integration with Existing Spaces
  • Direct Contractor & Architect Coordination
  • Sourcing & Specification Documentation
Project Timeline: 6–14 months

Full Furnishing

Turnkey design for completed new construction or renovations.

Your new construction is complete. The walls are up, the systems are in, the structure is finished. But the home is still a blank canvas. Now comes the furnishing: turning an empty shell into a complete, intentional, livable home. You need paint colors for every room, fixture selections finalized, cabinetry specified, window treatments detailed, lighting planned. You need every detail decided so the home feels like yours from move-in day.

Full Furnishing is turnkey design for the moment when construction is complete but the space is empty. We handle everything: paint colors and finishes for every room, custom cabinetry design and selection, flooring specifications, window treatments with motorized options, lighting design, fixture selection, and accessories. We deliver a finished, fully furnished home.

What’s Included
  • Paint Color & Finish Selection
  • Custom Cabinetry & Hardware
  • Complete Interior Furnishing Plan
  • Lighting Design & Fixtures
  • Window Treatments & Motorized Blinds
  • Flooring Specifications
  • Accessories & Final Styling

Design Concierge

For a scoped vision or as an entry point to larger design partnerships.

Whether you need consulting for a specific project or aren’t ready to commit to a full design project, this is a great option for those looking for assistance to bring a specific scoped vision to life. After an initial consultation to understand the goals you are looking to accomplish, we will design a proposal and source furnishings and decor for your transformation.

This is often the entry point to larger design partnerships. Clients who start with a specific project discover how much impact intentional design makes, and many expand into full home projects afterward.

Typical Projects
  • Hourly Design Consultation
  • Custom Window Treatment Packages
  • Custom Cabinetry and Closets
  • Carpet and Flooring
  • Lighting and Fixture Selection

Developer Consult

Design consultation for developers on new builds and major renovations (Winchester area).

We often work with developers to consult on full renovations or new home builds. This is a local service only and we work closely with the developer to evaluate floor plans and consult on finish selections, lighting placement and selection, paint colors, hardware, and any custom features such as built-ins or fireplace surrounds.

In partnership, we help evaluate a vision for the home and provide a design plan to help aid execution and ensure a cohesive design aesthetic and goal.

The Process

01

Initial Consultation

After contacting us and letting us know what your desired service is, we will send you a questionnaire for completion around the goals and scope of your project. We will then set up a consultation video conference to discuss your vision for the project and what you’re looking to accomplish as well as share a little bit about our process. From there, we will request additional items such as inspiration pictures and budget specifications and look to schedule either an in-home consultation or an additional video conference if remote.

02

Design Kick-Off

Once we have an initial idea of your vision and goals, we will either have a more focused in-home consultation or remote consultation to confirm how you plan to utilize the space, assess design goals, take measurements, and discuss next steps. From there, we will be able to produce a customized quote for the project and agreement outlining expectations.

03

Design Preparation

Once the design agreement has been executed, we will get to work producing design boards and renderings that include options for color palettes, fixtures, furnishings, and finish (depending on scope). We will source samples, materials, and look to prepare a customized selection guide for your review.

04

Execution

After an approved final proposal and deposit delivery, we will work with our various trade partners to order all of the pieces to bring the vision to life. We will manage every detail of your project by coordinating ordering, tracking, and delivery of all design selections. If you are engaged on a renovation design service project, we will work to complete additional custom finishes — such as wallpaper installation — during this phase as well. We will ensure no detail is too small, and once complete — allow you to sit back and prepare to enjoy your new space!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you help with just a kitchen or bathroom renovation? +

We specialize in whole-home projects where we can manage the complexity of hundreds of interconnected selections. Our services are designed for new construction, full renovations, and multi-room transformations. Single-room projects fall outside our scope, but if a kitchen or bathroom renovation is the first phase of a larger whole-home vision, let’s talk. We typically do three-room minimums to start.

What’s your typical project size? +

Our ideal clients are building custom homes or gutting and renovating significant portions of existing homes. These are projects with enough scope — enough selections, enough timeline, enough coordination complexity — to justify design investment. We’re not the right fit for minor updates or single-room aesthetic changes, but we’re perfect for the overwhelming complexity of new construction and whole-home renovation.

Do you work with remote clients or outside Winchester, MA? +

We primarily serve the Boston Metro area and surrounding New England regions. We need to be present for site visits, installation oversight, and in-person consultations during discovery. We typically don’t take on projects outside a 30-minute drive from Winchester except for opportunities on Cape Cod (where we have a strong network).

How much flexibility do we have in the design process? +

You have complete creative authority. Design is a collaboration. We offer recommendations, we explain our thinking, we guide you toward choices that work together — but you make the final decisions. That said, part of our value is making those final decisions easier for you. We’re confident that when you understand the why behind our recommendations, you’ll agree more often than not.
